NYC’s Impact

The NYC team is currently rounding out the end of the year by finalizing partnership renewals in order to prepare for relaunching programming in the Fall. This year alone, NYC has been able to reach over 6200 students in 53 high schools. We’ve delivered over 3000 workshops in 53 high school partners.

Curriculum Evaluation and Assesment

We’ve partnered with the Design & Development team to lab a handful of workshops in order to inform curriculum edits. In the same vein, Peer Health Exchange NYC continues to lay the foundations in partnership with the Program & Strategic Learning team for a large-scale evaluation project we’ll be managing throughout the course of next year in order to track Peer Health Exchange’s influence on student outcomes.

Supporting A Great Cause

In other news, 80 people, including 25 Peer Health Exchange alums and young professional supporters, braved the pouring rain on May 8th to support Peer Health Exchange NYC through Quiz for a Cause! Participants played in the Bling Pig’s weekly pub quiz for prizes provided by the bar and contributed $10 to Peer Health Exchange NYC. The event was a huge success, raising $800. We are also coordinating another event for August, so please keep an eye out for details!

Exciting News!

In keeping with Peer Health Exchange’s focus on investing in our staff, we are celebrating Nicky Smith, NYC’s Program Coordinator, transitioning into the role of Program Manager!
