As the coronavirus pandemic forces the world to deal with overwhelming changes, prioritizing mental health is as important as ever. Our school partners and young people tell us this is the number one issue on their minds as we practice social distancing, in addition to meeting basic needs.
We know young people need space to process what’s happening, check-in on their health needs, and seek help when they need it.
That’s why we’ve launched Let’s Talk: Your Health—a portal of up-to-date, and reliable health resources for young people including:
- Real stories from near-peer Health Educators, sharing their experiences coping during the COVID-19 health crisis.
- A growing library of skill-building resources and practice activities, like practicing healthy communication or accessing resources.
- Health resources from other community partners that support young people’s mental and physical health.
Check back each week for new content! We hope to hear from you soon.
