Angela Glymph, PhD

CEO, Peer Health Exchange

Dr. Angela Glymph (she/hers) is the CEO of Peer Health Exchange (PHE), a leading national nonprofit organization founded by young people, for young people, with the goal to advance health equity and improve health outcomes for all youth. With over 15 years of industry experience, Dr. Glymph's expertise covers positive youth development, health equity, social and emotional learning, adolescent sexual and mental health, and social psychology. Her skillset includes developing and managing youth health and educational equity programs as well as program impact, outcomes and risk evaluation. In addition to her work at Peer Health Exchange, Dr. Glymph co-leads the BIPOC Mental Health Coalition, serves as a Board member of national nonprofit Active Minds, and is an appointed member of the SHAPE America National Health Education Taskforce. She is a published author of textbooks, book chapters, and empirical research articles, and frequently presents and sits on professional panels in the public health and health education spaces, including the Society for Public Health Education. Dr. Glymph earned a Ph.D. and MS in Psychology from Howard University.
